AUSTSWIM Teacher Code of Behaviour
AUSTSWIM has adopted an AUSTSWIM Teacher™ Code of Behaviour for AUSTSWIM Candidates and Teachers to comply with. The code is an important part of AUSTSWIM’s polices and is in place to ensure all AUSTSWIM candidates and teachers behave in a manner that is appropriate.
The primary objective of the AUSTSWIM Teacher™ Code of Behaviour is to promote the value of accredited AUSTSWIM teachers™.
The AUSTSWIM teacher code of behaviour will raise public confidence in aquatic education by:
- publicising AUSTSWIM’s expectations of its teachers
- show that AUSTSWIM teachers accept a high standard of practice
- provide a benchmark for appropriate behaviour in facilities
