Nomination Requirements  

 

WHO CAN NOMINATE?  

A nomination for the 'Most Outstanding Contribution to AUSTSWIM' award categories can be submitted by anyone - colleagues, clients, friends etc.  

 

ELIGIBILITY:  

  • To be eligible for an award the nominee must be able to demonstrate considerable experience and/or knowledge in all areas of the selection criteria. It is recommended that nominators seek information from the nominee regarding the accuracy and veracity of claims.   
  • Past recipients may not enter under the same award category in consecutive years.  
  • A nominee can only be entered under one award category.  
  • Nominees must hold a current and appropriate AUSTSWIM accreditation to be eligible for consideration of an award.

 

APPLICATION GUIDELINES:

  • A separate application form and submission must be submitted for each nomination.
  • Nominations must be submitted on the official AUSTSWIM Award Nomination Application Form.
  • Applications should be restricted to a maximum of 7 A4 pages, typed in font Arial, 11-point .
  • Additional supporting material should be attached to the application e.g. certificates, qualifications.
  • Contact details of Two (2) referees are to be provided. A referee should be supportive of the claims made in the nomination and be able to be contacted by state and national review committee members.
  • Nominators should not assume that the awards committee knows the nominee, or his or her strengths.
  • Nominations that do not satisfy the requirements will not be accepted.
  • Information, photographs and material provided in the nomination may be used by AUSTSWIM at anytime for promotional, marketing purposes.
